PortfolioWorks provides private, targeted art teaching and portfolio coaching to students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees in art, architecture, fashion, animation, illustration, film, design or drama.
Our story
Founders Maggie Cardelùs and Allison Blumenthal started PortfolioWorks in 2019 after noticing that many students creating their art, architecture, fashion, and other portfolios lacked the support they needed.
As practicing artists, they wanted to create a way to provide young artists with the experienced mentorship that every artist needs in order to do the deep, introspective, self-risking work that results in authenticity, confidence and an understanding of the value of what they do.
